Trekking to Lao Chai Village, to get memorable experience. The villages is surrounded by mountain and rice paddy field. Enjoy real panoramic scene of local Vietnam to this village. Muong Khuong market is also very colorful and attractive
Sapa in early May was sunny. The day time temperature was around 28-30 degrees C. We expected it to be cooler, but sunny made our photos much nicer. Luckily, trekking not too hard to us because we had proper walking socks and shoes. A spare pair of good socks is definitely recommended. At least pick these items up in Hanoi, where they will be cheaper, before heading to Sapa.

So many blowing horns while driving from Hanoi airport to Halong Bay, sometimes it scared us because we thought the driver was angry (but i guess this is common happen in Vietnam so we don't really mind actualy).
It was super fun and we were so in love with all the handmade souvenir there. The market was so colorful, and crowded with local people with lovely goods. Women wear beautiful colored traditional clothing. The market was indeed very busy and in a way touristic too
